Travel

Klosters can be conveniently reached by road or rail from Zurich international airport. The travel time from Zurich is around 2 hours by car or 2 hours and 40 minutes by train. Davos is a popular weekend skiing destination due to its convenient transfers and abundant accommodation options.

By car

Klosters lies in the centre of the Canton of Grisons in the east of Switzerland, just a few hours’ drive from various major European cities:

  • From Zurich: 1.5 hours
  • From Bern: 3 hours
  • From Milan: 3.5 hours
  • From Munich or Stuttgart: 4 hours

During winter, snow chains or an all-wheel-drive car may be necessary.

Depart from Zurich and drive on the A3/A13 motorway following the green lights towards Chur until you reach Landquart. Proceed on route 28 from Landquart to Davos. To drive on the motorway in Switzerland, a toll sticker costing CHF 40 is required. This item is available for purchase at any border crossing, gas station, or post office.

By train

Klosters is well connected, with two railway stations – Klosters Dorf and Klosters Platz
