More choice: shopping in Davos

For a wider selection, combine a visit to neighbouring Davos with some shopping. The Promenade is a useful starting point, with fashion and sports retailers including Angerer Sport & Mode, Peak Performance and Odlo. Readers can also seek out Schuler Bücher at Promenade 78.

Shops are spread over a larger area than in central Klosters. Check the addresses you want to visit and remember that Davos Dorf and Davos Platz are different parts of the town. Explore the official Davos Klosters shopping directory

For help planning the journey, see our travel and local transport guide.

Before you go shopping

Check the day and season. Smaller shops may close at lunchtime, take a weekly rest day or shut between seasons. Sunday opening varies.

Contact showrooms ahead. For interiors advice, a fitting or a specialist consultation, arrange your visit directly.

Ask about specific items. A shop’s general range does not guarantee a particular size, model or prescription is in stock.

Check which branch you need. Sports retailers can have separate shops, rental centres and mountain outlets.

Make time for the village

Shopping fits easily into a quieter day in Klosters: browse a few shops, stop for refreshments and leave time for a walk.
